Dr. Edward Lee is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. He received his training through Georgetown University School of Medicine and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is the residency program director at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Rutgers University. Dr. Lee was raised in suburban North Brunswick, NJ. In a family of boys, he grew up loving the intensity of sports, including soccer, wrestling, and crew. He also had a passion for music and has trained as a pianist, trumpeter, and percussionist. His early academic achievements led him to attend the prestigious Lawrenceville School near Princeton, NJ. He went on to complete his undergraduate degree at Yale University, where he double-majored in Philosophy and Molecular Biochemistry & Biophysics. He earned a master’s degree in Physiology at Georgetown University before attending Georgetown University School of Medicine. Graduating with honors, he proceeded to complete his training through an integrated plastic surgery residency at the world renowned University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Lee currently lives in Bergen County, NJ with his wife and daughter, who are constant sources of humor and joy.
